A quick reminder that the only reason this exists, the only reason the holocaust has such a huge importance is because Germany took responsibility. They could have easily use their power to try and sweep this aside. It would have been difficult yes but god know that there was and still is enough anti semitism in the world for them to have pulled it off

Meanwhile Turkey won’t even admit the Armenian genocide and is spending millions of dollars suppressing,intimidating and bribing other governments to contnue denying

USA not only barely acknowledges what it has done to Native Americans but still treats horrible monsters like heroes and actively continues to undermine and destroy Native American communities

And that’s just when it comes to the big names. There are so many other people who refuse to acknowledge any responsibilities or even honor the victims

That’s why it’s important to never forget. This is not just a mindless slogan. It’s a matter of survival, of keeping our humanity
